Demand for IT staff expected to increase (05/03/07)

SkillsMarket's survey to almost 1,000 senior decision makers of the UK's leading recruitment companies revealed that 78% expect the demand for IT staff to continue to increase over the next 12 months.

26% expect demand to increase significantly, 52% expect a marginal increase and 2% for it to remain the same. Interestingly, no-one forecast a decrease in demand.

This is great news for IT recruitment companies and demonstrates the level of confidence in the market at that moment. More findings will be revealed over the coming weeks...
