SkillsMarket short-listed for Onrec's Best Technical Innovation Award (22/01/07)

We're pleased to announce that SkillsMarket has been shortlisted for Onrec's "Best Technical Innovation in Online Recruitment" award for the iProfile.

In a market that is becoming increasingly candidate driven, SkillsMarket was short-listed for this award because it is the only company that converts a recruitment company’s CV database into an asset by making the information held within it more accurate and up-to-date. SkillsMarket has achieved this through the creation of the jobseeker’s online CV - the iProfile.

Almost 2 million candidates now own an iProfile and it provides them with a simple way to verify and keep the information that recruitment companies use to match them to jobs up-to-date. It also enables them to define their skills, work history and job preferences in more detail so that consultants can more accurately and speedily match them to jobs.
